Payment Options & Financial Policy

At Red Sun Dental in Espanola, we understand that dental insurance may not fully cover all aspects of your necessary treatments. Moreover, we recognize that not everyone has dental coverage. However, we strive to provide a seamless and hassle-free payment process for your dental care. We are pleased to accept various payment methods to accommodate your needs, including:

We want to ensure that the cost of dental care does not prevent you from getting the treatment you need. We know each patient has a unique financial situation, which is why we created a financial policy that streamlines our services to you while keeping our administrative costs to a minimum.

Payment is due at the time of service, including the entire estimated portion for those with dental insurance .
Payment plan members must leave a credit card on file, encrypted and stored by our dental software.
Please ensure a minimum of a 24-hour notice to cancel or reschedule any appointment.
Please contact your dental insurance’s Human Resources department to learn about the terms of your dental insurance plan.

We’re happy to process insurance claims and estimate the amount not covered by insurance.
Patients with secondary insurance will be responsible for the co-pay required by their primary insurance. Credit left after the secondary insurance makes a payment is credited back to the patient.
Any balance over 30 days will be subject to a 1.5% monthly finance charge.
Any balance over 90 days may be sent to collections.
